Beautiful 1940’s 1950’s vintage slip..
Cardboard size and style tag that’s never been wet..Deadstock perhaps?
Even has the original price stamped on it..
No maker or fabric content but wow it’s a nice one..
Pale pink silk..medium weight to it with a gorgeous satiny sheen..
Accent details done in a pretty mauve floral net lace adding a wonderful contrast..
The bust lining and slip edging are done in a sheer chiffon..
Adjustable straps with pink enameled metal hardware..
Fantastic bias tailoring, it just clings to my mannequin and is not pinned at all..
Inside seams are finished with pinking shears..
What a beauty!
Excellent condition…I dont think this slip has ever been washed and has a slight perfumey smell..there is a tiny pinhole at the waist possibly a moth bite
