I know she’s threadbare in spots and missing some quilting stitches..
But I just love her so..
And whomever wore the threads through must have loved her as well..
A valentine to them both..
1940’s maybe 50’s bed jacket..
Pretty peachy pink satin with delightful floral displays of old fashioned roses and violets, tulips and daisies..
The satin has a woven pin striped detail in it..
All delicately quilted, just lightly batted..
Cute little collar..
Mid length sleeve..
I love the little pocket!
Lined with a robins egg blue acetate satin..
So darling and soft!
I believe she has lots of life left..
Someone is sure to adore this little beauty!
Very Good condition mostly..the inside of the collar shows most of the wear..it could be patched with a piece of satin pretty easy I think..there is some quilting loss mostly at the tops of the shoulders…which could also be restitched..the lining has a line of water mark across it..
