It’s not common to find a Vicky Vaughn from the 1950’s..
And just look how darling this dress is!
The color is a deep salmon pink..
A sheer lightweight cotton with woven plaid stripes..
The stripes are done in 2 very similar shades of pink..very subtle..
Contrasting white eyelet lace ruffles at the shoulder flounce and skirt..
The bodice is tailored with nipped waist and little waist ties..
Darling short sleeve with almost a boat neckline..
The midi length skirt has a full sweep with lots of gathers and trim at the hip..
Unlined and sheer..
Zips up the side with a metal zipper..
Seams finished with pinking shears..
Absolutely adorable dress!
Very good condition…has some slights signs of wear to the thin fabric and eyelet lace..there’s a tear at the hip the size of a penny that needs to be mended, I’m happy to do that..some seam repairs at the waist..
