This antique petticoat dates back to the Edwardian era.
Its made of soft white cotton, white work embroidered from hip to hem with spiderweb eyelets and flowers.
There is a ruffle at the bottom of the skirt.
The ruffle is detailed with ladder work.
The skirt has a very full sweep at the bottom.
The waist has a metal hook and eye closure..
Excellent condition
There are a few pinholes and a faint dirt smear on the front, I’m going to try some extra methods to get it out..
This petticoat is very wearable, the fabric is strong.
