Unusual 1950’s vintage garter belt by Simone..
Made of sheer black mesh and satin ribbon straps..
The style is like a bandage strap dress..
Wide elastic at the back..
It has 4 adjustable garters, with metal adjusters and hardware..
Fastens in the back with 2 metal hook and eyes and 4 adjustments..
This garter belt, or suspender belt, is very unusual and very pinup!
good condition..it was definitely a favorite and worn quite a bit..the satin ribbon has a purple aged color and shows some signs of wear..the elastic is in pretty good shape and still has plenty of snap left in it..the rubber garter tabs are aged and hard..they still work for the most part..these tabs can be replaced..I’m happy to see about replacing them upon request..I’m just going to leave this as it is for now..
Despite these flaws, this is a rare find.
